Barron's Names Miles White Among World's 30 Most Respected CEOs
Abbott CEO Miles D. White has earned a spot on Barron's list of
"Most Respected CEOs" for the second consecutive year. White was the
only CEO from the healthcare industry to make the investment
magazine's annual ranking of the top 30 CEOs in the world.
Executives on this year's list were chosen for their ability to advance
their company during the economic downturn. This is Barron's sixth annual list
of Most Respected CEOs. To be considered, CEOs need to have been on the job for
at least three years, in order to have had time to affect corporate culture and
establish a reputation in the investment community.
